About VLA
Voice Linking Association (VLA) is a youth-founded, youth-driven non-profit organization. Here, young people take the lead: we read classic works in the humanities and social sciences, explore how education evolves in the age of AI, engage in dialogue on global issues, design our own social investigations, write research reports, and think critically about what human happiness means in an AI-shaped world.
At VLA, we — the youth — actively re-examine what education should look like in this era of rapid technological change. For us, learning is not just receiving knowledge; it is discovering personal values, connecting technology with humanity, and shaping our own perspectives. While we collaborate with adults as equal partners and invited contributors, we maintain the core belief that human judgement, empathy, and imagination are irreplaceable. Together, we explore how technology can empower good decisions and help young people cultivate meaningful and fulfilling lives.
VLA members come from Canada, China, Japan, and the United States, with our primary onsite activity located in Toronto, Canada.

Youth Growth Club
A year-round program with more than 35 youth-initiated events. In just two hours, participants can:
——Share reflections on selected readings.
——Join community-engagement activities designed and led by youth.
——Take part in peer-led discussions on ideas that matter.

Engaged with UN
Youth can serve as UN youth delegates — thinking, speaking, and acting on global issues.
——Collaborate with UNESCO and UNICEF on public-service.
——Conduct social research and publish youth-authored reports.
——Grow into global citizens by directly observing and understanding world affairs.
